En este taller tendrás un proceso de investigación sobre la memoria, las etapas de vida, el contexto social, la cultura en la que estás inmerso para contar la historia personal y social que quieras. La narrativa de la historia será trabajada desde la interdisciplina y la performatividad. A través del convivio vincularas mente, cuerpo y emociones dentro de un espacio, tiempo y realidad para llegar al conocimiento personal, social y global teniendo como vehículo la experiencia escénica.
Tres módulos de dos meses cada uno, los viernes de 6 a 9 pm.
MÓDULO UNO: Febrero-marzo: 1,8,15,22,1,8,15,22,29.
MÓDULO DOS: Mayo-junio: 3,10,17,24,31,7,14,21,28.
MÓDULO TRES: Julio-agosto: 5,12,19,26,2,9,16,23,30.
Total de sesiones: 27. Total de horas: 71. Cada módulo con un costo de 1200
pesos por participante. Descuentos a estudiantes y maestros de 200 pesos. El
pago bimensual será por adelantado, en la primera semana de cada mes. Pueden
entrar los interesados a cualquier módulo.
Move, Listen, Touch & Be Moved
Kirstie draws her from her knowledge of contact improvisation, dance techniques, the Alexander technique, Aikido, meditation and her extensive experience of improvisation in performance. Her work explores the huge potential of the body?s response to the primal urge to move, inspired by the energy released through human interaction, physical challenge and a daring to go beyond inherent ideas of limitation.
What moves us and why?
There is deep inspiration and rigor in a practice of improvisation that posits vulnerability at its heart. Developing the skills to be able to care for, engage, respect and respond to that state of vulnerability in oneself and others gives life to improvisation that is powerful and transformative.
This is the work that Kirstie engenders through facilitated exercises, open time for play and exploration, movement scores, observations and discussion. Much of the work is experienced through partnering and connection with others, balanced with solo time for processing and reflection.
Kirstie?s art form is her life practice, and she shares insights gleaned from thirty-two years experience of loving and living dance improvisation.
